GETTING HERE

There is free parking (seasonal restrictions apply) on the seaside length of our road and free on street parking overnight along both sides of our road between 6pm and 10am. We supply a map of nearby on street parking options if there are no spaces along our road. You are welcome to stop outside and unload your bags first.

For more information about parking and about public transport and other ways of getting to Weymouth and around the town while you’re here, this page has a lot of excellent information.

There are good public transport links to Weymouth via bus and train as an alternative option.  The train station and bus stops are all within easy walking distance to our guesthouse. The town is within reasonable walking distance and offers plenty of wonderful restaurants, bistros, pubs and individual shops and cafes.

There’s a lot to do and see in Weymouth and this page of events and things to do is constantly being updated. For family-specific days out, Visit Dorset and Days Out With Kids are useful.

Weymouth is also an ideal base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast, from the Isle of Purbeck, to the Isle of Portland, West Bay, Lyme Regis and beyond all accessible on public transport. We recommend using Rome2Rio for uptodate transport options.

Historic Weymouth harbour

Weymouth itself has a rich history and a lot of it is still to be found, from the Georgian seafront, Napoleonic Nothe Fort, Tudor Sandsfoot castle and even a cannonball from the Civil War lodged in a wall.

The Isle of Purbeck is a short drive away. Discover Corfe Castle, Swanage and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
Our location on the beach means you’ll never miss a sunrise
