There is free parking (seasonal restrictions apply) on the seaside length of our road and free on street parking overnight along both sides of our road between 6pm and 10am. We supply a map of nearby on street parking options if there are no spaces along our road. You are welcome to stop outside and unload your bags first. You are welcome to book in and leave your luggage before finding a parking space. We hope that you will agree that the wonderful beach side location makes up for the limited parking options.
There are good public transport links to Weymouth via bus and train as an alternative option. The train station and bus stops are all within easy walking distance to our guesthouse. The town is within reasonable walking distance and offers plenty of wonderful restaurants, bistros, pubs and individual shops and cafes.
As well as the world famous scenery, Dorset is well known for it’s wonderful food. This page has details of the county’s many markets.
Weymouth is also an ideal base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast, from the Isle of Purbeck, to the Isle of Portland, West Bay, Lyme Regis and beyond all accessible on public transport. We recommend using Rome2Rio for uptodate transport options.
Weymouth itself has a rich history and a lot of it is still to be found, from the Georgian seafront, Napoleonic Nothe Fort, Tudor Sandsfoot castle and even a cannonball from the Civil War lodged in a wall.
